  • Medical
    By participating in the Parkland Employee Health Plan, you can take advantage of our top-notch medical facilities and staff, as well as our innovative approach to quality care.
  • Pharmacy
    All Parkland employees can take advantage of parkland’s pharmacy benefits program. To receive up to a 1-month supply, you fill your prescriptions at specified onsite employee pharmacies.
  • Dental
    Dental benefits are available to full-time employees on the first day of the month following 90 calendar days of service. You pay your premiums on a before-tax basis. You can cover yourself, your spouse, and unmarried children up to age 25.
  • Life Insurance
    Parkland offers two types of life insurance coverage—Basic and Voluntary.
  • Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) Insurance
    If you want additional protection above and beyond life insurance coverage, you can buy AD&D insurance effective after 90 days of service
  • Retirement Programs
    Working at Parkland gives you the opportunity to participate in a unique retirement benefits program. Because Parkland is a governmental entity, certain additional retirement benefits are available only to Parkland employees in the Dallas area.
  • Paid Time Off (PTO)
    We recognize the need to balance your career and personal time, thus our Paid Time Off benefit addresses this value added benefit. 
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
    Sometimes it’s a tough world out there! To help you deal with personal problems that affect your relationships at home and at work Parkland sponsors an Employee Assistance program (EAP) as part of its benefits program.

You also have the opportunity to learn more about other aspects of business and healthcare. Parkland offers internal programs as well as tuition reimbursement for courses taken outside the system.
