Alison Brandt - Division Manager Nursing Alison Brandt, the Division Manager for our Nursing Division, has been with Supplemental Health Care since December 2003. She obtained her Bachelors Degree from Texas Tech University majoring in PSY. To further her education she graduated with her Master's Degree from Texas Christian University. She has over 6 years of recruiting experience in the healthcare industry.
Alison is married to Allen and is the proud mother of two young children.
Amanda Pierce - Recruiting Manager Allied Health Amanda Pierce joined Supplemental Healthcare in September of 2007 as a Recruiting Manager. She obtained her Bachelors of Business Administration from the University of Oklahoma where she majored in Management Information Systems and minored in Management. Prior to SHC, Amanda was a Talent Acquisition Specialist at a large computer company in Oklahoma City. Amanda, her husband Brian, and their baby girl Melissa, have just recently moved to the Dallas area and are very excited to be here.
Andrea Bacak - Recruiter Allied Health Andrea Bacak, originally from Corpus Christi, Texas, joined the Supplemental Health Care team in September of 2007. Andrea earned her Bachelor's degree from Texas Tech University in Communication Studies. Prior to joining SHC Andrea worked for the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center as a Unit Coordinator for the orthopedic department. Andrea loves spending time with her boyfriend Sam and her dog Oliver.
Becky Borelli - Staffing Manger Nursing Becky Borelli, Staffing Manager joined Supplemental Health Care in December 2005. She has over seven years of staffing and recruiting experience many of those in health care.
Becky graduated from Rockhurst University in Kansas City with a BS in Marketing. She has two grown daughters and has lived in the Dallas area for 11 years.
Carol Dearing - Division Manager Allied Health Carol Dearing, our Division Manager, has been with Supplemental since 2001. Carol brought to SHC many years of staffing experience and has worked with all types of healthcare professionals.
Carol comes to the Allied Division after running the day to day operations of the Nursing division. Our allied health professionals appreciate her complete dedication to them, her clients, and the patients they serve. She is married to Jon, and is the proud mother of a Marine and a son in college in at Baylor in Waco.
Janet Elkin - Regional Vice President Southeast Region Janet Elkin, our Regional Vice President, has been with Supplemental since 2003 and has been in staffing for many years before that. Previously Janet was a Managing Director of an executive search firm in Dallas. She has a total of 15 years experience in healthcare.
Janet graduated with honors from Syracuse University with a dual BA/BS in Advertising/Public Relations and Psychology. She was born and raised in New York City, and has been a longtime Dallas resident. She is a member of the D/FW Healthcare Human Resources Association. Janet and her husband Robert are the proud parents of four daughters.
Justin Daniel - Recruiting Manager Nursing Justin recently was employed by SkillStorm, Inc in the Dallas, Texas market as a Resource Manager, prior to SkillStorm he was a Senior Recruiting Manager for Maxim Healthcare Services, Inc. He is a graduate of Texas Tech University where he received his BBA degree in Business Management. He also was a walk on for the Texas Tech Raiders Basketball team, but had a career ending injury early in his freshman year. Justin and his wife, Mandy, just purchased their first home in Mckinney, TX.
Kara Pope - Recruiting Manager Nursing Kara Pope joined the Supplemental Nursing Team in March of 2007 as a Recruiting Manager. She has over five years of healthcare staffing and recruitment experience. She earned her Bachelor's Degree from Texas Tech University and double-majored in Comparative Literature and Psychology.
Kathryn Cooper - Recruiting Manager Allied Health Kathryn Cooper, a native to the Dallas area, joined the Supplemental Health Care Team in June of 2007 as a Recruiting Manager. Kathryn earned her Bachelor's Degree from Texas Tech University in Exercise and Sports Science in May 2007. Prior to joining SHC Kathryn interned at the Baylor Tom Landry Health and Wellness Center where she found a love for the health care industry which lead her to Supplemental Health Care.
Kristan Smith - Administrative Coordinator Kristan Smith is the first point of contact at SHC-Dallas. She has seven years of customer service experience and one year of management experience. Kristan was employed at SHC-Fort Worth for one month before she was transferred to the Dallas location. She was born and raised in Detroit, MI and has lived in the DFW area for 2 years. She will receive her BBA in Marketing with a specialty in Business to Business marketing in May 2008.

Ron Plute - Area Manager Nursing Ron Plute, our Area Manager over Texas Nursing, has over six years experience in healthcare staffing. He has a total of 20 years of sales and operational experience in the healthcare field.
Ron graduated from Brescia University with a BS in Biology. He is married with three grown children. He has been a resident of the Dallas/Fort Worth area for a total of 12 years.
