Bridget Smoak - Senior Staffing Manager Allied Bridget Holland Smoak spends her non-work time loving on her husband, David and their three dogs, Sandy, Abigail Nutmeg and Miss Peabody who are spoiled rotten. They enjoy everything Charleston has to offer and she is often the seen at local fundraisers and festivals. She spent 12 years as a massage therapist and massage therapy educator before proudly joining the Supplemental Health Care team in March 2004. She's worked in both sides of the house beginning her tenure as the nursing recruiter and transitioning to the allied department later that same year. Bridget brings to her work a compassion that mirrors the SHC core values.
Candice Losego - Administrative Coordinator Allied Candice Losego was born and raised in a small town outside of Pittsburgh, PA. She fell in love with South when she attended the University of South Carolina where she majored in Marketing and HR Management. In her free time she enjoys lazy beach days, long runs, a good book, boating and marathon shopping sprees. Candice joined the Charleston SHC team in October and couldn't be happier. As an Aministrative Coordinator she specializes in compliance and various marketing activities.
Deborah Green - Senior Recruiting Manager Nursing Originally from Conway, South Carolina, Deborah Green, now lives in Charleston along with her husband Jerome and two dogs, Keke & Toni. She is an avid fan of both high school and college football; and is especially fond of the Conway Tigers, Coastal Carolina Chanticleers (CCU Graduate), SC State Bulldogs, and the Carolina Panthers foot ball teams. Her penchant for sports show in her passionate and sometimes gleefully expressions while performing her recruiting and staffing functions. For over two decades, Deborah has worked in the customer services industry from entry level to management positions and now proudly refers to Supplemental Health Care as home since January 2005.
Denise Deaton - Recruiting Manager Nursing Denise Deaton began working for Supplemental Healthcare- in October 2006 and has since become a very successful Recruiting Manager for our office. As no stranger to the industry, she brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the position having worked in a human resources/staffing/recruiting capacity for many years. Denise puts a tremendous amount pride and dedication into her work as she strives to be a friend, mentor and career advisor for each and every one of her nurses. She is excited to be in Charleston, living out her dream of being close to the beach. Denise, her husband and two children now call Charleston their new home and she hopes that their other two children will decide to move there in the near future. When she's not at work, Denise enjoys going to the beach, traveling, reading and spending time with her family. Denise truly demonstrates Supplemental Healthcare's I CARE core values and will strive to treat you with a standard of respect and excellence which will surely make your experience with SHC a positive one.
Jennifer Millican - Staffing Manager Allied Jennifer Millican is a graduate from the College of Charleston and she has been on both the managerial and clinical side of healthcare for over 10 years. Before joining the SHC team, she worked for 6 years as an assistant to an orthopedic surgeon in Charleston. She has also worked extensively with the geriatric community in skilled nursing facilities specializing in therapy programs and activities. She has continued to volunteer in geriatrics and pediatrics in the hospitals and nursing homes in Charleston. She resides in Mt. Pleasant with her husband and 4 year old son.
Michael Barnes-Recruiting Manager Michael Barnes is happy to have finally landed in our Supplemental Healthcare family, here in South Carolina. Originally from Baltimore, MD, he has criss-crossed the country in such places as Washington State, North Carolina and Georgia. His life experience has provided him with an amazing ability to relate to people with ease and to deal with any situation in stride. Michael graduated from the University of Maryland and is currently pursuing an MBA from Charleston Southern University. He has spent four years in general staffing, until most recently joining our nursing division in 2006. His business acumen along with his genuine ability to relate to anyone he meets will certainly make him a success and a welcome addition to our team. And as the tallest person in our office, make sure that he is sitting down when you meet him. Otherwise, I have two words for you, Stiff Neck!!
Natasha Lee - Regional Vice President Nursing Natasha Lee is originally from Florence, South Carolina, a small town an hour inside of Myrtle Beach. After attending college in Florence at Francis Marion University, she moved to Atlanta to pursue a modeling career. After exploring the modeling industry, she found staffing much more interesting and profitable; beginning a 10 year history in staffing, recruiting and management. She returned to South Carolina in 2001 to open up the Charleston Office for Supplemental Healthcare. After a very successful start up, she opened Raleigh the next year and launched our North Carolina operations. In 2003, she took on the role of Area Manager and took on Ft. Lauderdale and Orlando as markets to further develop.As you can see from her current title she has not stopped yet! Way to go Natasha.
She has a five year old son, Coleman, who keeps her extremely busy when she is not traveling for Supplemental. Natasha enjoys biking, kayaking and fine dining experiences; all three of which not hard to find in Charleston! Stop by our office and if she is not in chances are you will find her at our local Crab Shack!
Nicole Burleson - Division Manager Allied Nicole Burleston is the Charleston Branch Manager for allied health services. Having worked in the medical field for over ten years, she started her career in the emergency room working with adults and pediatrics. Before joining the SHC team in 2001, she worked as primary nurse for a busy cardiologist in Hilton Head, SC. A Carolina girl to her core, she now calls Charleston home.

Tammy Altunbas lived in Tampa for the past 15 years and while on vacation in Charleston fell in love with the area and is excited to be a new part of this great team.. Tammy has over 18 years experience in medical staffing, and has a depth of knowledge in the recruitment, placement, and retention of highly qualified healthcare professionals. Her commitment to SHC and our office is unparalleled. Tammy is also well suited for her managerial duties. She is responsible for maintaining a successful budget, facility marketing program and a strategic growth program.
